Best photography spots in Cape Town
Sunsets at Signal Hill

Time flies! It has been our 5th wedding anniversary and therefore we decided to travel to South Africa. This beautiful place on earth has always been on our bucket list. We started with Safari in Addo Elephant Nationalpark close to Port Elizabeth, enjoyed the beauty of ‚Garden Route‘ including an unforgettable trip across Little Karoo and fell in love with a sunny city called Cape Town. Besides the beaches of Camps Bay, my absolutely favorite photography spot in Cape Town was Signal Hill. Known for its flat-topped hill, it offers a great view of the City Bowl and Table Bay. It is one of the go-to places in Cape Town for sunset lovers. There you can have that perfect South African sundowner. You might already know … I am crazy about sunsets and the great outdoors. I definitely have to fly back to Africa soon.

In the evenings Signal Hill is a little like ‘lovers lane’ – popular with couples who are up there to enjoy the lights and the romance of the Table Mountain backdrop. Bring some wine, snacks, enjoy a sunset picnic and join the cheerful applause later! Or meet up with a photographer who knows the best photography spot in Cape Town… 🙂

Lovebirds only

That is where I met Liesbet and Paul, a local couple. Very sympathetic and crazy in love. They wore their most comfortable clothes and just enjoyed themselves. As a traveling photographer I love the obvious feeling of freedom, dynamic and movements. I always want the couple to have as much fun as possible. A photoshoot is not just an ‚appointment‘, it is way more than that. Afterwards you will all have natural and invisible moments captured for a lifetime. That is the secret of my kind of philosophy. That is my passion of photography.

Thanks for having me, I’ll keep you in my heart.
